This World Mental Health Day, here at Eight Bells for Mental Health, we’ll be raising awareness about mental health and the support our charity can give anyone experiencing mental health challenges. We will be hosting a community coffee morning in St Nics Church Hall on Thursday 9th October, 10am – 12pm. Come and chat to our members whilst enjoying a cuppa and some delicious homemade cake.
It’s so important to come together to talk about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters. Talking about your own mental health helps us cope with life’s challenges and it’s vital that we make time to check in with our friends, family, and colleagues—not just today, but every day.
Every year, on October 10th, we celebrate World Mental Health Day. This year’s World Mental Health Day theme, “Access to services – Mental health in catastrophes and emergencies”, reminds us how vital it is that support remains available even when life is turned upside down. At Eight Bells, we believe good mental health is a right for everyone, and access to support must remain, even in the toughest of times. 💚
