At Eight Bells for Mental Health, we believe that creativity can be a powerful source of comfort, connection and hope. Mike has faced his own mental health challenges and discovered that painting helps support his wellbeing, giving him a way to express feelings of calm, connection and joy that can sometimes be difficult to put into words.
When we invited our members to help design this year’s Christmas cards, Mike generously shared his wonderful winter painting. His artwork has since been transformed into our official Eight Bells Christmas Card — a truly special design that celebrates not only the beauty of the festive season, but also the creativity, courage and resilience within our community.
