Members Outings

So far this year, members have enjoyed some great outings and activities away from the Friends Meeting House.

First up, The Ugly Duckling Pottery Painting shop, where members got involved and crafted some pretty spectacular pieces to show off in their homes.

On April 19th, a group of members braved the chilly weather and headed over to Beale Park for a delightful day trip and picnic. Even though it was a bit nippy outside, they still managed to have a ton of fun!

Thank you to Isabel and the team at City Arts, Newbury. Our members had a fabulous time having a go at Collagraph Printmaking. The results were fabulous and super textural. They also enjoyed checking out the exhibition ’The Longest Day’. A very happy, creative morning.

Through their Pay it Forward initiative, the Corn Exchange generously provided tickets for members to attend a theatre performance of Around the World in 80 Days. Everyone had a great time and we’re so grateful to the Corn Exchange for their generosity and continued support of Eight Bells.
